If you’re heading to Kroger over the next few days, check out the holiday section where you may find some board games on clearance. I made two trips this week and grabbed Monopoly on sale for $5.10 (down from $16.99) the first time.
Today when I went, they were out of most of the games. Monopoly was gone (so glad I got it earlier!), and I got the last Chutes and Ladders and Hungry, Hungry Hippos. I paid $3 and $6 respectively. I may go back and get the Greedy Gators game, which I think is a steal at $4.80!
In addition to board games, my store had these neat Pigs from Angry Birds that you can use on your tablet to play Angry Birds. It also had a Hot Wheel car to use with playing some sort of Hot Wheel game on a tablet (since I have a daughter, I”m not up on all the car games for tablets!). I thought those were neat ideas, so I got a pig for Lucy. I think she’ll have a blast with it.
And, my store had Holiday Thomas trains (Thomas and a second car) on clearance for around $3. If you’re looking to stock up on games, this is a great time to do so!
