Oz the Great and Powerful opens in theaters March 8. 2013
So I am BEYOND excited to have the opportunity to join 24 other bloggers for the premiere of Oz The Great and Powerful Feb 13, 2013 in at El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles! I will be walking the red carpet along with the stars of the film – James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and more! In addition I will be participating in interviewing the starts and director Sam Raimi – who you might know as the director of the blockbuster Spiderman films.
Oz The Great and Powerful is one of the most anticipated releases of 2013. Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great wizard but into a better man as well.
I will also be visiting Walt Disney Animation Studios for the In-Home release of WRECK-IT RALPH (available 3/5)! Did you see this in the theaters? I did and LOVED it! I was partial to Vanellope myself – she was adorable!
