PLEASE NOTE – The Amazon Coupons have not been found in April magazines. Subscribe & Save through Amazon is STILL a fabulous deal, much better than retail stores with coupons for the major brands!
I just got my (free) issue of American Baby in the mail today and lookie what I found!
I love these Amazon Diaper coupons. Here’s a scoop on how I am able to get my diapers for free (or close to it!
Sign up with Amazon Mom. It’s a total free service from Amazon! It allows you to get super great deals plus free 2-day shipping. It’s a lot like Amazon Prime but it’s geared toward parents and families!
Pick your diapers on Amazon. Any diapers will do! On the right side of the screen that the diapers are on you will see a “Subscribe & Save”:
The diapers will go down by 30% when you use Subscribe & Save. I usually choose “every 6 months”.
*If you’d like to have them delivered automatically you can - you will not be able to use any more coupons, but you will still get 30% S&S rate. And not have the hassle of going to the store to get them.*
In this example the price goes from $33.59 to $23.51. BUT if you also use the 20% off coupon the price will go down to $16.79. The 20% off comes off the $33.59, so you will get 50% off total!
Now this is still an amazing price for diapers – in this example the diapers are only 8.3 cents per diaper used.
If you come across a $10 off Baby Items Amazon coupon (currently in Baby Talk magazines) you can stack this deal and make the total $6.79. Yep, less than 5 cents per diaper.
A note on the $10 off coupons:
These coupons can only be used once per account from what I understand, meaning if you have 3 codes you cannot use them all on one account. They can be applied to anything in the “Baby” category distributed by Amazon. It will NOT work (usually) on other categories, such as Toys, Home, etc.
Reader Jessica let me know that she was able to STACK her 20% off coupons when buying diapers! With your 20% off coupons one code needs to start with YJ and the other with YT. it will take 20% off the original price!
Diapers: $33.59
S&S: $23.51
20% #1: $16.79
20% #2: $10.07
= 7 cents a diaper
PLUS you can stack this with a $10 off making your total a mere .07 cents for everything! Thanks Jessica!*
edit to add:
It appears that the 20% off coupons that start with ‘YJ” can only be used one time per account, same with the $10 off coupon that is out there. the coupons that start with “YT” can be used several times, which means if you have 3 codes that all start with “YT” you can use these on 3 separate orders.
Take it even further?
Sign up for Swagbucks! It’s a search engine powered by Google that will periodically award you points when you search. There are also codes that will give you additional points. Every 450 points will get you a $5 Amazon Gift Card! I search a few times a day and easily get a $5 gift card within a month, usually 2
So you can bring your total down to $1.79 or even free!
The only thing I have noticed is that you cannot use two different $10 off coupons on the same Amazon account. You can however use many 20% off diaper coupons on separate orders within the same account. I don’t know how long Amazon.com will have these coupons, the one I just got expires on 2/28/11. So I would ask your pediatrician’s office for copies of both magazines or sign up for a free subscription of them. I subscribed through Parents.com HERE for American Baby and I get Baby Talk from my pediatrician, but if you google search you should be able to find a link for a free subscription. Wait, did I say google? Use Swagbucks instead!
Enjoy!

Ok, I got to get my hands on one of those magazines with the extra coupons!!
Just for this second, and only this second, I wish I was American and that what you were saying would apply to my life.

I live about 20 minutes from the border (and that's just because I live in the country – the nearby city is a border town), so it's not far at all. But I haven't been over in a year, and I don't like making many trips there because I never know what the lines will look like at the bridge. I've waited for hours before, and I can't do that with Noah in the car, and I can't leave him behind because I still breastfeed every 2 hours. And I wouldn't want to send my husband over to spend that time away from us when he's away so much already.
There IS an outlet over the border that you can ship packages to if they won't ship to Canada. It costs $5 a package. Plus the $6 in tolls. My inlaws go over frequently, so I guess maybe they'd be willing to pick up my packages. But all those deals you mentioned about the extra coupons? I don't get those magazines and whatnot, so I don't know if Amazon would save me that much more over watching the sales until diapers plunge in price and using a coupon on top of it. Which is what I currently do.
Free would be nice, though:)
Great find. Thanks for the info.
The Amazon coupons are also in Parents Magazine
